Abstract
In this paper, I will first present my theory that Japan’s purpose during the Jeongyu War was to conquer southern Korea. Secondly, I will confirm that the Japanese military campaign during the War was the rationale behind this theory. Thereafter, I will suggest new evidence to support this theory.
