Abstract
This chapter discusses the examination of the mission of the Japanese ambassadors to the Roman Curia, and things which they observed in the whole course of their journey, in Europe and elsewhere by Alessandro Valignano, Visitor of the Society of Jesus in the Oriental Province, and Fathers Diogo Antunes and Nicolão de Ávila of the same Society. The mission found nothing opposed to the Christian religion or to good morals.
