Abstract
Este Trabajo de Fin de Grado tiene como objetivo investigar los primeros contactos entre las potencias ibéricas y los diferentes señores feudales japoneses, centrándose especialmente en tres aspectos claves: el comercio, la expansión del cristianismo y la venta de esclavos. En estos tres pilares, los miembros de la Orden Jesuita tuvieron un papel importante debido a su asignación inicial como proselitistas en el archipiélago.
La coyuntura derivada de las primeras relaciones nos permite ver la aparición de misiones diplomáticas a Europa, siendo la primera la Embajada Tenshō, que tradicionalmente no ha recibido tanta atención como la posterior Embajada Keichō y que constituirá el último apartado de este TFG.This Final Degree Project aims to investigate the first contacts between the Iberian powers and the different Japanese feudal lords while focusing on three key aspects: commerce, Christianity’s expansion, and slavery. In these three pillars, the members of the Jesuit Order had a very important role due to being the original proselytizers on the archipelago.
